Colored pants are either a love or hate item for many, and I am on team love. Especially when the weather cools down, I typically get tired of black pants and denim and like to throw in some color. I love pairing these olive pants with blush details because the colors work so well together.
Now that the election is over, it’s time to get into holiday planning mode. Who here is counting down the days until Thanksgiving? (*raises hand*) I have the whole week off so, really excited to get some relax time in. I was brainstorming creative dessert ideas for Thanksgiving that are relatively simple and came up with this pumpkin pie cheesecake.
If you follow trends even slightly, I’m sure you’ve noticed that suede is the texture of the season. Suede skirts, boots, bags, hats, dresses…you name it, its been made and worn. Even I’ve fallen into loving the soft and warm texture. So the main question is, how to wear a suede skirt?
When it comes to fall tones, forest green, and pretty much any green is my favorite. The vibrant and rich color pairs well with just about any neutral so there are countless ways to wear it. I love how this forest green dress looks with leopard; deep colors, like burgundy and navy also pair well with leopard so I usually pull out my leopard pumps whenever I wear the darker tones.
Plaid and flannel has easily become the most worn pattern in my closet. My fall plaid collection typically consists of darker and deeper colors, but this light plaid is more uptown and less outdoorsy. Also, it’s a closet essential because plaid is so effortless and easy to wear; I’ve mentioned a few ways to warm this shirt up below.
Fall textures that are currently on my mind: velvet, suede, flannel, fur and leather. When I first saw this navy velvet dress in Revolve’s sale section(unfortunately sold out now), I was in love! Velvet was always on my “to purchase list” for the fall, so this off the shoulder option is a winner in my book.
