The fig tree has fruit! I’m counting down the days until the figs are ripe enough to enjoy. Which got me thinking; what fig recipes should I try this summer? My favorite from last year was the baked figs stuffed with goat cheese; the recipe is below. I’m excited to try the fig galette recipe and a savoury figgy pizza recipe.
Figs are my absolute favorite fruit because they are naturally sweet with a great taste and texture. They’re fairly healthy too thanks to their high dietary fiber content. I take full advantage of the summer fig season so stay tuned for some figgy recipes of my own.
