Materials:

Empty wine bottle
Lots of assorted shells
Gold paint & paintbrush(optional)
Hot glue gun & glue sticks
Wine (optional, not really:)
Steps:

1. After gathering materials, lightly paint the shells in gold. This step is completely optional, the finished product will still look great without gold. I just have an obsession with gold tones.

2. Let the painted shells dry.

3. Put hot glue on the outer rim of the shell and quickly place on bottle. It helps to plan when the shell goes before actually using the hot glue. It also helps to place all of the larger shells and then the smaller ones. Be cautious while using the hot glue!

4. Reinforce the larger shells with more hot glue, make sure they are very sturdy. It will look messy at first, but when all the shells are placed it will pull together.

5. Keep adding shells. Towards the end, I crushed up a few shells to fill in the small gaps (kinda like coarse sand). Remember, every gap doesn’t need to be covered!

Adding all of the shells did take some time, but I am in love with the final product!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
P.S. If you make the bottle, send me a picture! I would love to see it. ๐Ÿ™‚
