Fall Dresses :: Plaid Edition

On the hunt for fall dresses that can be worn in 90 degree weather? Fortunately, there are some great transition trends that will keep you cool until the weather decides to cooperate. My favorites this season are plaid in a thin airy material, midi midi midi anything, off the shoulder long sleeve tops, rich and vibrant colors, and sleeveless sweaters. The Laundry Room has tons of plaid options in traditional and fun silhouettes!

Here, I am combining two of my fall faves: thin airy plaid and rich, vibrant colors. The hints of burgundy in the plaid pair well with the color of the bag.

The cool thing about this dress, is it can also be worn as a sleeveless duster on top of anything. Stay tuned for that #ootd soon!

James and I are throughly enjoying our explore Augusta weekends for outfit pictures. There was a firetruck parked at the Dental School so he insisted we take pictures in front of it(yeah, he’s a 5 year old). I was pleasantly surprised with the result though! The firetruck just looks so cool; maybe I’m a 5 year old too!

    I like the firetruck too, and I wish I was still 5 years old. Hehe. The plaid dress is definitely a great transition dress for this weird beginning of fall, but still hot weather we have going on. I am so sick of alternating dresses for work and can’t wait until I can throw on tights and a jacket to spice things up. Lol.
