If you follow along on my Instagram, I’m sure you’ve noticed some huge changes coming up in my life. James is graduating Dental School, we are moving to Birmingham, Alabama and planning a trip to China. Along with that, I’m still trying to push out daily blog and social posts to keep y’all engaged.
So, how do I do it?
It takes a village to get everything done. Just kidding, it really just takes a powerful phone, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ and some dedication. I personally hate gimmicky and hard to use devices, and am so pleased with the usability and features of the Samsung Galaxy S9+. It helps streamline my day-to-day tasks and boosts my productivity to the max. I didn’t realize how frequently I would use the functions that the Samsung Galaxy S9+ has until I got the phone and dived into it. I’m also going to share how I shoot and edit my images with the Samsung Galaxy S9+ camera.
Now, who knows how I start my day?
With my Samsung Galaxy S9+ under the pillow and snooze at least 4 times in the morning…oops. That probably isn’t the most productive start, but if I’m being realistic, it’s a daily ritual. After I’m out of bed the first thing I do is compile my daily to-do list. This helps me visualize and prioritize the tasks of the day. I just go into the notes section of the Samsung Galaxy S9+ and jot everything down in order of importance.
As a style and lifestyle blogger, getting a quick and easy OODT picture is a morning priority. When I used the Samsung Galaxy S9+’s camera for the first time, I was in awe. Goodbye DSLR and hello Dual Aperture lens!
Some Samsung Galaxy S9+‘s camera features include…
- Dual Aperture lens adapts like the human eye which allows stunning pictures in bright daylight and low light.
- Live focus mode that makes portraits pop.
- Super slo-mo that makes film making much easier.
- Filter and editing capabilities.
How to take a perfect Picture with the Samsung Galaxy S9+.
- Find your object of focus and the best natural lighting possible. Although the Samsung Galaxy S9+ shoots well in lower lighting, the best quality images are in natural light.
- Swipe over to Pro Mode. Here you can adjust the ISO, focus, exposure and white balance.
- Just play around with the settings to find your perfect fit. The ability to adjust the ISO and f-stop is what sets the camera apart and makes it so awesome.
- After I’m happy with the lighting and composition of the image, I switch over to the editing function in the photo app. Here I just throw on my favorite filter and am ready to post.
Before I forget, you can find your Samsung Galaxy S9+ at your local Target and it is compatible with many carriers.
After I’m done with my morning editing and posting, I try to take a short break to plan our China trip. It is my first time visiting, and there are so many places I want to visit and things I want to see. I occasionally end up on websites where everything is written in Mandarin, and the Samsung Galaxy S9+’s translation function has been so helpful. You just take a picture on the characters and Bixby will translate it for you!! I’ve also been taking pictures of places I want to visit, and Bixby pulls up information about the image and location. Such a great function for anyone that travels!!
The second half of my day consists of emails, pitches, research and scheduling. Doesn’t the life of a blogger sound glamorous? I just keep check check checking things off of the morning list.
After the tasks are done for the day, it’s time to squeeze in my daily workout. On busy work days, I just try to get an in-home workout done. The Samsung Galaxy S9+’s infinity display and surround sound stereo speakers make my at home workouts painless and easy. I just pull up a video and get to it.
And sometimes I take a selfie because post workout glow is the best.
After the work related tasks of the day are completed, I just wind down and relax with James and Danni for the rest of the evening. This usually includes a long walk, T.V time and a home cooked meal. I try to end the day with my nighttime face cleansing routine. Since I use quite a few serums and combinations the timers and note section on the Samsung Galaxy S9+ help a ton with this. Just before bedtime, I also try to squeeze in a short meditation session to help me relax and rewind. The timer is a great resource here too!
