Images of fields filled with lavender have been popping up all over and it has us craving things packed with the floral flavor. There’s just something luxurious about eating flower buds. Since lavender has a distinctly floral taste with hints of mint, rosemary, and lemon, it tasted delicious whether in sweet or savory recipes. We’ve also noticed that lavender recipes tend to look on the prettier side. Since the color is a beautiful lilac, whatever you make will have a wonderful color and aroma. If you’re thinking about trying these lavender recipes, try growing a lavender plant for fresh buds. Next on our list is lavender simple syrup for lattes and cocktails!
These are the food grade lavender buds we use in our test kitchen.
