Fall/Winter

Coming in just at 5'0", I'm smack dab in the middle of petite waters. This means that I tend to get wary when it comes to wearing jumpsuits, midi dress, and anything maxi. My fear is that the excess fabric will overpower my small frame and make me look frumpy. Recently, I've learned that after testing different styles in these categories, there are options that work for us, petite ladies! When I tried this striped jumpsuit, I was pleasantly surprised with how elongated it made my legs. The wedges definitely helped with the illusion, because I, unfortunately, do not have long legs. But, it's worth trying some different styles to see if it works for you!

All winter long, and for the first half of spring, you can find me in a trusty turtleneck. Easily this winter's most versatile staple, the turtleneck sweater helps me stay warm and cozy on many occasions. I love how this one isn't too oversized and frumpy, and layers well. It can be dressed up or down and looks great with just about anything. Since the northeast is covered in snow and the south feels like winter again, it's unlikely that I'll be packing up my sweaters anytime soon. Although, I would prefer a cute gingham dress instead.

When you're hot then you're cold...I feel like this is my life currently. I have a feeling that the hot/cold transitional time will last for another month too. The best way to tackle the unpredictable weather is to be prepared. My recent go-to is a warm, but still breathable sweater. I wear a thin top underneath and can easily remove the sweater if necessary. Since my extremities are always cold, having a trusty sweater on hand is very helpful.
