Light Plaid and Denim

Plaid and flannel has easily become the most worn pattern in my closet. My fall plaid collection typically consists of darker and deeper colors, but this light plaid is more uptown and less outdoorsy. Also, it’s a closet essential because plaid is so effortless and easy to wear; I’ve mentioned a few ways to warm this shirt up below.

Light Plaid Options

A few ways to warm this shirt up…

• Pair with a solid long cardigan or duster on top.
• Throw on a huge solid colored blanket scarf for extra coziness.
• Wear a quilted vest on top (quilted + plaid = classic fall combination)
• Try a knitted sweater and have the plaid collar and sleeves popping out
• A darker fur vest will add textural contrast
