Office Inspiration

Recently, my bed and couch has become my hangout area when working from home; talk about real office inspiration :/. When I get “in the zone,” clutter and mess follow. Not to mention how horrible working in bed is for my posture. James and I have been brainstorming a designated office space for me, so I can control the crazy a bit better. The options are either a large open corner in the bedroom, or taking over his office, which I’m less keen on. Both rooms have great natural lighting, which is very important in my list of necessities, so I just need to make a decision away from the couch. I’m pretty much starting from scratch on furniture, so I’m excited to hunt for a new desk.

One of my favorite things to pin is office decor. I’m drawing so much inspiration from these spaces; I hope I can pull off something that looks even slightly similar to these options.

This desk is a dream. With the bamboo siding and the mirrored exterior, I cannot think of a more perfect desk. With the gold, it’s just feminine enough. The pink accents are a great addition and aren’t too overpowering.

I’m all for an ultra feminine white desk, but sometimes I wonder if I can keep if white. When I work, I see myself making pencil and pen marks all over my crisp white desk :(. I was under the impression that a black desk setup would look too masculine and dark, but this one, with the white chair, walls and navy built-ins, is not too drab. I’m adding cow rug to my list of essentials in my office space.
