Augusta Hotels || Where to Stay in Augusta, GA

One of the most common questions I get e-mailed is: I’m visiting Augusta, where should I stay?

The Partridge Inn is easily my first recommendation. Located in the beautiful and historic Summerville area, it is also known as The Grand Hotel of the Classic South, it has been the go-to accommodation for dignitaries and celebrities. Nested on “the hill,” The Partridge Inn also boasts some of the best views in Augusta.

I love traveling as much as the next girl, but sometimes I just want to relax and rewind close to home. When James and I had the opportunity of indulging in a staycation at the beautiful Partridge Inn, I was beyond excited. The hotel is centrally located and just a few minutes from the shopping and dining. Downtown Augusta, Surrey Center, and the River-watch area are all close. It’s also a few minutes from the Augusta National Golf Course and is a great option for visiting Masters Patrons.

As soon as we stepped into the lobby, we were in awe of the historic but still modern nature of the hotel. Along with the amazing views, we were also met with a luxe and cozy accommodations. Outside were tons of quaint sitting areas and a beautiful bright blue pool. The various hang out areas were my favorite.

After relaxing in our room, we head to dinner at the hotel restaurant, The P.I. Bar and Grill. We enjoy a delicious charcuterie plate, yummy braised beef and one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The P.I. Bar and Grill has great service and an amazing atmosphere with live music on the weekends. After we fill ourselves up with tasty food and good wine, we just chatted and relaxed on the wrap around porch outside.

The Partridge Inn also has a rooftop bar that has literally the best views in Augusta. It’s a trendy hang out spot for the locals, but unfortunately it was closed for a private event so we didn’t get to see it.

For year’s I’ve heard great reviews about The P.I. Bar and Grills Sunday Brunch Buffet and goodness it did not disappoint. They have multiple carving stations, a great hot food line up, crab legs, an omelette station and southern desserts. It’s easy to eat wayyyyy too much because it was all so good!

All in all, The Partridge Inn is a great option when it comes to Augusta Hotels. Let me know if you check it out!

Thank you to The Partridge Inn for hosting our staycation!
