When you think of summer cocktails, what comes to mind? For me, it’s the cult-favorite Frosé. It’s bright, refreshing, sweet, fruity and perfectly boozy! So I created the easiest Frosé recipe, literally only 4 ingredients, that tastes like summertime. PSA one of the ingredients is a little outside the box, but it makes this drink way better.

Easiest Frosé Recipe
SO, what 4 magical ingredients create this amazing drink? I tried something different and combined frozen lychee, frozen watermelon, frozen rosé, and lemon. Lychee is the secret ingredient here. It’s perfectly sweet, juicy, and blends smoothly. We get canned lychee in sugar syrup and use the syrup to sweeten the Frosé.

It doesn’t get easier than that, am I right?! The only prep work is freezing the ingredients beforehand. We pour a whole bottle of dark rosé into a baking sheet and toss it in the freezer for a minimum of 6 hours. Also freeze 4-5 cups of watermelon cubes and 2 cups of canned lychees (without the syrup, save a few whole lychees and the syrup for later.)

When everything is solid, toss it in the blender and blend it up with 1/2 cup of the lychee syrup and juice from one lemon. Serve it immediately or else it’ll melt, although it tastes delicious when it’s melted too! I garnished my Frosé with some lychee balls, watermelon cubes, and fresh florals. Full proportions are below!! Enjoy!

Easiest Frosé Recipe (Frozen Rosé)
Ingredients
- 1 750 ml high quality rosé wine
- 4 cups cubed watermelon
- 1 can of lychee in syrup
- Juice from 1 Lemon
Instructions
- Freeze ingredients 6-8 hours before hand. We put everything in the freezer the night before we want to enjoy it. Pour rosé wine into baking sheets or ice cube trays to freeze. Freeze cubed watermelon in a ziplock bag. Remove lychee balls from syrup in can and freeze whole. Save syrup and a few lychees for later.
- When everything is frozen (wine will be more of a slushy consistency due to the alcohol freeze point,) add it all to a blender with 1/2 cup of lychee syrup and the juice from 1 lemon. Blend until its smooth and serve immediately. You can also put the blended slushy in the freezer if you like a more solid consistency! Enjoy!
