17 Vegetarian Meal Prep Recipes

Last week I decided not to meal prep and oh was it a bad week. We ate out at least 6 times and I just didn’t feel great. Now, I’m getting a jump start on this week’s meal prep options with 17 Vegetarian meal prep recipes. Sometime when you need to cleanse and detox, an all veggie diet is just what you need. If you’re meal prepping for the first time, I highly recommend getting these single compartment containers or these 3-compartment containers to portion the food. It makes meal time much easier and keeps the food fresh!

15 Citrus Cocktails that are So Refreshing

Winter doesn’t really bring along a lot of produce options, but technically, winter-time is citrus season. The great thing is, citrus is alway refreshing and brightening, making it seem spring-like. I’ve been eating an orange a day and am trying to add more citrus to my recipes (check out my citrus salad.) Last night, I indulged in a gin and tonic with a squeeze of blood orange juice, and loved the combination of flavors. Here I rounded up 15 citrus cocktail recipes that are sure to be refreshing and will push you into spring mode, if you aren’t already there! Also, since citrus is so vibrant, the drinks look beautiful too!

Spring Sweaters to Buy Now + A Grey Turtle Outfit

When you’re hot then you’re cold…I feel like this is my life currently. I have a feeling that the hot/cold transitional time will last for another month too. The best way to tackle the unpredictable weather is to be prepared. My recent go-to is a warm, but still breathable sweater. I wear a thin top underneath and can easily remove the sweater if necessary. Since my extremities are always cold, having a trusty sweater on hand is very helpful. So if you’re confused with what to wear during this un-fun weather, check out my list of spring sweaters in gorgeous spring colors.

6 Bookshelf Styles that are Great for Trinkets

One of my goals for this year is to cut down on clutter and to find a place for all of my stuff. Essentially, if it can’t be organically styled into our home, we don’t need it. I know that sounds extreme, and I’m not following that rule entirely, but it’s just something to think about when purchasing new stuff. Since we’re moving in a few months, I’m excited to downsize and get rid of non-essentials. I’m also excited to display the fun things we’ve accumulated over time and the best way to do that is with a bookshelf. After seeing many bookshelf styles online, I rounded up a few different options that would display trinkets well.

When my family gets together for dinner, we try to create meal options that the whole family can enjoy. Since half of my family is vegetarian, a favorite is falafel and gyro night. Many of the ingredients in falafels and gyros overlap, so it’s easy…

Grey Knotted Tee and Other Closet Essentials

Two things that I could wear for the rest of me life…good denim and a cozy tee. Casual and comfy to the max but still put together. When I think about closet essentials, a classic tee and my favorite distressed denim come to mind first. This outfit combines the two well and really takes no effort at all. To change things up, I knotted the extra fabric on the side. Easy peasy.

Meal prepping is the ultimate time and energy saver during a busy week. It just takes 3 hours on a weekend to prepare everything for the week. If you think about it, cooking dinner every night adds up to 7-8 hours, so meal prepping saves at least 3-4 hours! Also, there is no better feeling than having dinner ready when you get home from a tiring work day. The Instant Pot can make meal prepping even easier. It cuts cook time down and creates meals that are full of flavor. At first, I was slightly terrified of my Instant Pot. Pressure cookers just sound scary, but after hearing rave reviews I gave it a try and now love using it weekly. I have a huge list of Instant Pot recipes that I want to try for our meal prep, here are a few of them.

Best Work Bags at Every Price Point for the Busy Girl

For some reason, I’ve always been a fan of fashion bags that aren’t the most practical. Especially in an office setting where you need to carry around a lot of stuff. The circle bag is cute and all, but it can barely fit my iPhone+, let alone a lunch and laptop. So, totes are the way to go when you’re essentially lugging around your entire life in one bag. My new rule when searching for a bag is: can it fit my Macbook?
