Every girl needs a classic little black dress. I also truly believe that every girl needs fun solid colored dress. Since I’m hanging out in Athens, GA while James takes his Dental Boards, I thought I would share a #UGA themed party dress. Honestly, I came up with this red party dress look while planning for our semi formal event in Mexico during my work conference. The red and black combination was hard to miss when I was editing, so sharing while in Athens seemed appropriate.

When I pick “party dresses,” I try to choose a silhouette that works well for my body type. Since these dresses are typically more expensive, I feel like I need to get the most wears out of the dress as possible, so it’s crucial that it fits and feels well. Fit and flare is my go-to, but I have been meaning to test out other silhouettes to see if any other style looks better.

Fit and Flare Dresses Under 100$!
I gravitate towards the fit and flare style because it isn’t too overpowering on my petite figure and it twirls so well. Twirl factor is a very important component when picking dresses; to me, at least!

I know I always talk about how important versatility is when picking clothes, and I think this dress falls under the flexible category. Throw on a sun hat and lace up flats for a summer dress take or some booties with a felt hat for a casual way to wear this dress in the fall. Red party dress to sun dress to casual dress, woo!
