Peasant Blouse

Hello hello,

Happy Monday friends! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I indulged in bottomless mimosas, some gardening, and lots of puppy playtime. The highlight was last night’s Game of Thrones episode. Who else is excited for next week’s action packed episode?!

Now I have a new weather complaint…it’s too too hot outside. I kinda regret complaining about the rain last week because that was much better than this 100 degree weather. Granted, the evenings have been lovely and I enjoyed some outdoor time when the sun was setting.

   Since the temperature has been so warm and the sun has been so hot, I’ve been trying to wear lots of linen and lightweight blouses. I also am trying not to get too dark in the sun, so breathable long sleeves is a must!

It’s been years since I’ve even considered wearing a peasant blouse, but this one was hard to pass up. Aside from the very reasonable price, the material and cutouts were perfect for the heat. 

What I adored about this blouse was the hippie but feminine feel. I felt like such a free spirit when wearing this, seriously such great flow. All I needed was a flower crown! 

I had to juxtapose the feminine blouse with some distressed denim shorts. And so we have my classic summer outfit. I honestly find myself wearing denim shorts and a white blouse daily.
