Setting Goals for 2018 with AT-A-GLANCE

With the end of the year coming up in a few short weeks, I spend a lot of time reflecting on 2017 and making goals for 2018. I like to consider myself a very goal oriented person, so goal setting and planning is essential for me. I recently received the AT-A-GLANCE planner for 2018 and already started filling in milestones and objectives.

I like to keep my AT-A-GLANCE planner and notebook at my desk where I spend a majority of the day working. When I’m in a rush, I just take a picture of my to-do list on my phone so I can reference it easily. Having a physical planner is a great pairing to a digital phone calendar, I set short appointment reminders on my phone, but keep a more detailed version written in my planner.

Here’s a sneak peak into my typical morning. After I come home from the gym and walk Danni, I spend a few minutes writing and prioritizing my to-do list for the day. Everyone tells me that I’m very scatter brained, so having a list to reference helps SO much! Whether its fitness goals, grocery lists, work deadlines, or even lunch dates, making a note of the task really simplifies things.

May 2018 is a huge month for us! It’s my birthday month, James is graduating from Dental School and we’re making a big move. Those milestones were the first things I wrote in my 2018 AT-A-GLANCE planner, and looking at them puts a huge smile on my face!
